AP & AR Accountant with English

We are looking for specialists on AP/AR with English for our Client
Office Receipts:
Accounts Payable – Suppliers
Accounts Payable – Expenses
Office Receipts:
- Daily processing and posting of all bill receipts into the Office bank accounts, including dealing with cross-currency receipts, in line with the Solicitors Accounts Rules 2011
- Completion of the Retainer transfer report daily
- Applying credit notes to the firm's own invoices within Elite
- Processing internal zero bills within Elite
- Processing write-offs of small balances on bills such as bank charges
- Liaising with the UK team regarding funds in office account which need to transfer to client account and arranging for immediate bank transfers
Accounts Payable – Suppliers
- Posting of UK supplier invoices onto Elite and ensuring that all invoices have been authorised per the firm's policies
- Answering any queries from suppliers
- Dealing with unauthorised invoices – posting onto the system and forwarding to relevant person for authorisation and chasing any which are not returned.
- Ensuring appropriate VAT treatment is applied to all supplier invoices
- Generate the weekly supplier payment run from Elite
- Ensuring all non-GBP invoices are processed for payment via the online banking systems (i.e. all those which cannot be paid by BACS)
Accounts Payable – Expenses
- Performing the AP Review role for all UK expense claims through Chrome River and ensuring claims meet the firm's policies
- Processing of all Barclaycard transactions within Chrome River
- Ensuring appropriate VAT treatment is applied to all expense claims
- Generate the weekly expense payment run from Elite
- Answering any queries from partners and staff regarding expenses
- Inputting transactions onto the RBS Bankline banking system and any other banking systems used by the firm
- Ensuring filing is kept up to date
Requirements:
- fluent English min B2+/C1
- education and/or courses in the area of finance and accounting
- previous experience or internships approx. 1 year
