For one of our Client, international R&D company, we are looking for Candidates for the position of Application Specialist.
Responsibilities:
• maintaining and supervising high transaction volume Java Enterprise Edition applications designed and developed by the company
• handling customer cases with different level of difficulty, reported and managed through the case management tool and providing pro-active technical supervision for the applications
• communication with the customers, cooperation with the programmers to suggest improvements, report bugs and channel feedback from the customers
• executing technical supervision to ensure proper functioning of applications in the customer production installations
Requirements:
• ability to permanently work in non-standard days/hours (there are no night shifts)
• excellent SQL and relational database skills (preferably Oracle and/or PostgreSQL)
• excellent English skills
• knowledge of Java Enteprise Edition solutions will be a big asset
• customer skills, including oral and written communication
• experience with version control systems (CVS, git), data transfer protocols (FTP/sFTP), WebSphere MQ will be a plus
