For our Client, IT multinational company, we are looking for a perfect match for the position of:
Application Support Lead Engineer
Place of Work: Poznań
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for our more challenging customers and complex deployments;
- Investigate, reproduce, and resolve more complex technical problems related to application (Java), database, application servers, middleware, and operating systems;
- Mentor ASE's and provide advice, guidance and feedback on issues they may have difficulty with;
- Act as a primary point of contact for complex and difficult customers;
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our product providing feedback and guidance to customers and co workers;
- Drive the teams credibility by promoting team successes and developments.
- Ability to be able to set and manage customer expectations;
- Experience working with customers in the financial services industry is ideal though not essential;
- Relational database experience and performance tuning SQL, PL/SQL;
- Strong knowledge of application servers e.g. IBM Websphere or Weblogix;
- Experience with Linux or Unix.
