Currently we are seeking to recruit an experienced and ambitious individual for the position of Associate Director in the EMEA Utilities and Transport Group.
As a member of the EMEA Utilities and Transport Group you will focus on you will take a proactive analytical responsibility for a varied portfolio of several corporate issuers in the European energy, electricity and regulated transportation sectors within the region.
The exact portfolio of several entities will be tailored to your individual skills and experience and may be amended over time.
You will be directly responsible for:
- taking a leading analytical role for associated entities
- conducting meetings and analyzing the creditworthiness of issuers in those sectors
- presenting and discussing recommendations with the rating committee
- communicating Fitch's credit opinions to external parties
- providing ad hoc sector commentaries, rating actions and topical research
- providing analytical support to business development activities
- Educated to a university degree in finance
- Minimum 4 years of experience performing credit analysis and/or valuations
- Fluency in English and Polish is a must, knowledge of any other European language(s) will be a plus
- Very good knowledge of corporate finance with emphasis on debt structures
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven experience in a multinational/international environment
- Ability to work independently but also a good team player
- Open for traveling up to 10% of work time
