Automation Engineer
Responsibilities
- Create and release project documentation as well as support design review process
- Create and release test procedure as well as lead and/ or participate in the test of the software created
- Topside controls software creation
- Interfaces configuration/ apps creation and leading it though whole create/ review/ release/ test/ commissioning cycle
- Ensure that software meets current HSE legislation as well as industry standards
- Taking part in development, implementation and continuous improvement of process effectiveness and efficiency within the team
- Retrieve and submit data in Teamcenter following company protocols
- Provide workshop support when/ if needed
- Provide regular updates to project stakeholders
- Work with Wonderware InTouch, GE Cimplicity, Rockwell ControlLogix, Siemens PCS7 or other PLC/SCADA software
- Work with Modbus, Profibus, CAN, OPC or other communication protocol
- Reading P&ID schematics and other project documentation
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in relevant position
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering or a science – based discipline
- Practical knowledge of PLC and SCADA software
- Practical knowledge of Modbus/ Profibus/ CAN/ OPC or other communication protocol
- Advanced English
