Responsibilites

We're looking for someone who can help us to:

  • Propose and implement system and operational enhancements including automation

opportunities where possible.

  • Monitor usage and performance and troubleshoot server, software and hardware

issues

  • Problem resolution and ownership of issues escalated from Level 2 support teams or

the business

  • Faciliate the evolution of the job scheduling platform by assisting with new

infrastructure rollouts and migrations

  • Level 3 service support and timely closure of incidents
  • Analyse incidents and outages and implement preventative measures to prevent reoccurence.
Requirements

You are:

  • self-motivated and able to work on your own or within project teams.
  • able to work to tight deadlines.
  • an excellent communicator, along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • analytical and logical and enjoy solving problems.
  • fluent in English.

You have:

  • a university degree computer science, management information systems or professional certifications
  • strong experience working in CA AutoSys v11, Embedded Entitlement Manager and Workload Control Centre. iDash and Oracle database experience would be beneficial
  • strong linux skills, scripting would be beneficial
  • a good understanding of infrastructure principles and system inter-dependencies outside the job scheduling environment (e.g. networking, databases).
  • worked in a larger job scheduling environment would be useful.
We offer

You will be part of the global Middleware team, working out of Poland, responsible for the various Job Scheduling technologies. The team is primarily responsible for ensuring the correct operation of the global infrastructure so that it can support our complex business environment. We help by providing advice to our clients as well as optimising the solution to meet their needs. You will need to be able to work across multiple teams located in multiple locations across the globe.
