Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team based in Wroclaw, Back-End Developer is responsible for integrating our vendor components into the system landscape. Its current technology stack comprises IBM CMOD, OpenText, Oracle, SAMFS, DB2, TSM, NETAPPS SNAPLOCK and various in-house created technologies coupled with Java/JavaScript web front-ends.
Successful candidates should have:
- Ability to design, build and maintain applications in an Agile environment
- Excellent technical and interpersonal skills to understand our partners' requirements and quickly resolve any potential issue either in the project or in the productive environment
- Fluency in English, while German would be a plus
- In-depth technical knowledge with a proven track record in a similar environment:
- Experience in integration, migration or system projects on development or L3 support
- Improving and refactoring legacy code bases
- Incident management, problem analysis in a complex environment with remote, multi-tiered installations.
Core Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Software/System Engineering
- Perl
- PL/SQL
- Deep experience in server-side development using any platforms and languages (such as Java, C++, PHP and others)
- Unix scripting
- High communication skills and proactivity
- Advanced level of English
- Readiness to learn and get knowledge of various platforms
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Unit Testing
