ABOUT ROLE
As a BI Engineer in DWH you will be working with versatile technologies and handle mass data in Oracle as well as in Big Data. In a Scrum team you and your team is responsible to drive our platform changes and bring in your ideas to improve our processes and tool landscape. Bring in your experience and help to shift our platform to the next level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You take over versatile tasks in an agile team in a Business Intelligence (BI) environment.
- You analyze, understand and accompany requirements from the first user story until go-live.
- You do analytical tasks in context of Business Intelligence.
- You assist our Application Support.
- You document technical processes.
- You do code reviews
PROFESSIONAL REQUIRMENTS
- You have an Agile Mindset, you are a clean coder and live DevOps.
- You are not afraid of mass data.
- You have a high degree of quality awareness and trustworthiness.
- You can work on your own authority in a team.
- You are interested in new technologies.
- You have very good English language skills, German is an optional PLUS
CORE EXPERTISE
- Software development of any Hadoop-Distribution.
- Big Data tools Hive or Spark.
- Oracle PL/SQL development.
CONTEXTUAL EXPERTISE
- Software Development Tools like Kafka, Maven, Jenkins, Git or Subversion.
- Classical data warehousing.
