Responsibilites
- Refactor an existing system built using Hadoop plaform
- Fine tune performance of the components and process bottle bottlenecks
- Implement MapReduce model for processing big data sets with a parallel, distributed algorithms on a cluster
- Collaborate closely with Big Data experts, environment team, UI developers functional analysts and user leads
Requirements
- Hands-on in developing solutions utilizing the Hadoop ecosystem such Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Oozie, Storm, Kafka
- Experience in building and running enterprise-wide systems
- Strong in Unix, shell scripting
- Advanced English
- Experience in projects delivered by Luxoft - as a big plus
