Build and Deployment Engineer

Responsibilites
- Provide technical support to Test Automation Engineer to script and automate setup and execution of test environments and test harnesses
- Interface with Development, Platform Services and PTG teams to implement and automation tools
- Compile, automate and publish summary reports and dashboards
Requirements
- At times candidate may need to work flexible hours to engage with other global IT teams in Singapore, Pune, London & New York.
- Strong technical skills/experience testing and QA processes.
- University degree level (preferably in IT or Finance).
- 5-8 years of experience engineering, automating and implementing application testing programs.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX, shell and perl scripts, XML, Control-M.
- Sound knowledge of and experience implementing SDLC tools, including: JIRA, Confluence, SVN, TeamCity, Artifactory, Nolio, Crucible, Quality Center.
- Strong analytical problem solving skills and Decision-Making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Experience with industry-standard test automation tools.
- Experience with batch – oriented processing, including Control-M.

- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven fast learner who possess good problem solving skills.
- Takes ownership of tasks assigned to ultimate resolution.
- Accuracy and timeliness of delivering solutions using coding standards and practices.

- Results oriented – experience developing, documenting and releasing code into different environments.

Additional Experience/Good to Have:
- Experience with JAVA, SPLUNK and Informatica
- Working experience in Onshore/Offshore model.
- Experience with VLDB data platforms a plus.
