Build and Deployment Engineer

Responsibilites
- Work closely with delivery leads to understand Application functionality, Data & Business flows as a basis for defining monitoring baselines and thresholds
- Interface with Development, Platform Services and PTG teams to schedule and implement monitoring and alerting tools
- Compile, automate and publish regular monitoring and trending reports
Requirements
Essential skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a implementation or monitoring engineer
- Good knowledge of enterprise architecture (Informatica, ETL) including real time monitoring tools
- Strong interpersonal skills, management, leadership, communications, planning and organizing, project management
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven fast learner who possess good problem solving skills
- University degree level (preferably in IT or Finance)
Additional Experience (Good to Have):
- Sound knowledge of DB, JAVA, UNIX/LINUX, Windows systems and architecture
- Good knowledge of JIRA/Quality Center
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with ControlM, SPLUNK and CloakWare
- Knowledge of Data Masking tools and techniques
- Understanding of JAVA and Oracle monitoring tools
- Agile Certified and working experience in Agile Projects
- Experience with VLDB data platforms

Our product is a sub ledger and P&L generating system for many types of Structured / Non- Structured, Single / Multi Legged products and its feeds data to Ledger, Regulatory and P&L reporting systems. System receives over 200+ feeds from many upstream systems and processes over 40 Million records every day and across 3 regions. It also supports adjustment functionality using which product controls post Journals to fix upstream DQ issues.
