Business Analyst

The prospective candidate should understand and document business requirements, act as a hub of knowledge to project stakeholders and team and support less experienced team members

• Collects, clarifies and evaluates requirements for middle-office modules
• Determining required solutions and assisting in implementation.
• Actively communicates with the project stakeholders and manages the product backlog to ensure that the priorities are agreed and clear.
• Consults Development on requirements.
• Participates in development of the test acceptance criteria and test cases.
• Actively participates in distributed Agile process.
• Communicates with the teams in different locations and time zones (mostly US and UK).

• Experience in business analysis (preferable in finance space) 2+ years. Including, experience in identifying and documenting client needs, internal structures, procedures, workflows and systems.
• Knowledge of capital markets, finance and investment
• Technical skills: basic knowledge of Java, Oracle
• good working knowledge of SQL (writing scripts, complex query)
• Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
• Very good communication skills in English (read, spoken and written)
• Strong team player with good interpersonal/communication skills
• Flexible - keen to learn new technologies and to extend business domain knowledge
• Good problem-solving skills
• Analytic and detail-oriented

Nice to have:

• Experience of working with an Agile methodology
• Knowledge of Use-case driven requirements development
• Working knowledge of SharePoint, Jira and other web-based documentation/knowledge management platforms a plus
• Experience in working with remote client and vendor resources
