Business Analyst

Responsibilites
- analyzing business requirements provided by business
- communicating with users, architects and development team to understand the requirements and agree on solutions
- planning and conduct requirements elicitation sessions, specification walk-throughs and solution demos
- creating functional specifications
- supporting testers and developers during development, QA and UAT phases
- keeping track of the progress of assigned tasks, report status to Project Manager
Requirements
- Extensive business analysis experience (at least 5 years')
- A degree-level education (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering
- Solid experience with all phases of software development lifecycle
- A detailed knowledge of formal design methodology (ex. UML, BPMN, etc.)
- Outstanding logical reasoning abilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a team

This system is part of the market risk application suite, that calculate statistical VaR based on historical simulation model. It maintains the historical pricing data required for historical simulation which is updated regularly to capture changing market conditions.
