As a Business Analyst, you will work in a dynamic team that is based in Wroclaw. Our team methodology will include Scrum / Agile and traditional Iterative / Waterfall models. The project teams consist of IT project managers, business analysts, developers and testers. Business is represented by various business units of UBS AG and this includes all divisions of our bank.
You will contribute to the design and documentation of business requirements, covering regulatory and legal archiving applications in addition to operational functionality to deliver end to end solutions to our stakeholders. A understanding of Regulatory Archiving and Records Management is preferred. Requirements engineering as well as software design tasks are core deliverables. The creation of the solution documentation strengthening of the systematic traceability from business request to application function is a key part of the work.
Teamwork and cross-discipline collaboration is essential.
Requirements
Must Have:
- Advanced level of English
- Minimum 5 years' experience in business analysis
- Good requirements management skills
- Good data modelling skills (UML)
- Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
- Experience in software / solution design
- Experience in complex system integration or migration projects
- Good knowledge of Unix / Linux / Shell (at least one)
- Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle is preferable)
Nice to Have:
- Banking / Finance background
- Records Management / Regulatory archiving background preferred
- Experience in projects with mix of Agile and traditional iterative models is a big plus
- Enterprise Architect (EA) knowledge is an advantage
- Knowledge of BI-Tools (Business Objects) is an advantage
- Knowledge in the area of user authorization techniques is an advantage
- Advanced level of German

Records Management IT (RMIT) is a global technology change and delivery organization comprising nearly 100 individuals located in Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States and Singapore. RMIT provides archiving and retrieval solutions to all UBS business divisions (WM, Swiss Bank, IB, WMA and GLAM) focusing on supporting Legal, Regulatory and Operational functions.
The current technology stack comprises z/OS, IBM CMOD, Opentext, Oracle, SAMFS, DB2, TSM, NETAPPS SNAPLOCK and various in-house created technologies.
