Our client, a major multinational company operating in the manufacturing and industry sector with growing operations in Europe, is looking for a highly professional and flexible candidate for the role of Business Controller with SAP. This individual will be responsible for supporting the SAP CO rollout throughout the EMEA region. Following this project, the candidate will have the opportunity to work as a business controller in Poland.
Duties and responsibilities during SAP roll-outs (1,5 - 2 years) :
- Contribute to the roll-outs in EMEA region for SAP CO as an enabler, coach and tester
- Responsible for the training of SAP skills during the SAP Roll Out
- Translate business requirements into technical functionality in the SAP CO
- Build and coordinate the project plan of the SAP CO roll-out
- Responsible for the training of SAP skills during the SAP Roll Out
- Prepare, perform and manage the necessary testing for the SAP CO roll-out process
- Error verification, handling and debugging
- Configuration of the system in the area of responsibility
- Identification and documentation of functional business requirements
- Initiate, manage and implement activities to improve the efficiency of the process
- Ensure that project deliverables can be readily integrated into the operational areas
- Understand and manage the role of local critical role-players, but also coordination with consultants and company's Competence Center
Duties and responsibilities after the SAP roll-out :
- Planning and realization of the Forecast and Budget procedures for the Group
- Define, implement and manage information diagnostic and project management processes to ensure efficiency in operations and to ensure these are aligned with strategic goals
- Assist for compliance, internal control and review, including risk assessment and mitigation
- Implement appropriate business planning processes, linking into budget and longer term strategic planning
- Analyze efficiency / effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement across functions
- Ensure solutions, projects and courses of action proposed are accepted by the relevant stakeholders and embedded within the organization
- University degree is required
- 3-5 years of controlling experience in a multinational production company
- Experience in SAP CO is required
- Experience in SAP CO rollout is not required
- Good understanding of underlying business processes, related data, and SAP configuration in order to provide support
- Action-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to absorb and apply new ideas and concepts
- Well-organized with good analytical skills
- Project management skills are preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in an international team
- Fluent English is required
- Highly flexible to travel up to 100% across EMEA region for up to 2 years
