Role description
Job scope:
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan, which would direct and coordinate all sales and marketing activities for both external and internal customers. Implement and promote strategies regarding new business opportunities and/or expansion of existing opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Management of marketing and sales support and new business development.
- Define, implement, measure, reconcile, and regulate sales strategy. Establish and maintain pricing structures for the specified region.
- Monitor external and internal environment for development of new market segments.
- Develop, coordinate, and update all sales and technical presentations for both internal/external customers and work with corporate marketing for literature/advertising materials.
- Develop and maintain marketing budge for the specified Region.
- Support PLM and submit timely reports to the director of sales.
- Attend tradeshows.
- Assist in the promotion of services and in projecting yearly usage and revenue forecast.
- Work with district sales manager and assist where possible with multi product line offerings.
- Carry out customer presentations and client visits.
- Participate in industry trade organizations and other pertinent technical associations or committees.
- Keep abreast of competitor’s strategy, pricing, and general market activities. Work closely with other SLS managers on this issue.
- Log all sales activity in CRM system
- Know and understand company's Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical
- Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in oilfield plus 4 year degree from accredited secondary school
- At least 2 years experience in Business Development, Sales & Marketing area
- Good communication skills in English (both written and oral), presentation, leadership/supervisory/team and organizational skills
- Competent computer knowledge
- Capable of multitasking and working effectively under pressure
- Willingness to travel
- Strong technical aptitude regarding oilfield products and services
- Ability to understand financial reports including budgetary guidelines and project expenditures
- Ability to assign and delegate work, problem solve, answer questions, and evaluate results of performance
