Job Description:
The role of the Business Operations Analyst is to support the European DC in managing managing resources, services, projects, and budgets to meet both the goals of the business and clients.
Responsibilities include the execution of demand management processes, training and skills tracking, management reporting and creating models to support business decisions
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the resource allocations for the UK and Poland ensuring utilisation & recoverability of resources is maximised
- Monitor the demand vs. supply position identifying options for growth, cross skilling and off-shoring – increase recoverability
- Accountable for the management of External Opportunities analysing met & un-met opportunities identifying skills gaps.
- Facilitate the resource management meeting driving actions and providing analysis on a bi-weekly basis
- Recruitment support
- Reporting and analysis of business data
- Candidates will ideally be degree level educated or have a background in procurement or finance
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Microsoft Excel - producing reports, analysing data. Knowledge of Microsoft Project would be an advantage
- Experience with scheduling & planning
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Controlling/running large meetings and conference calls
- Energetic and confident with good attention to detail
- Eager to learn, responsive and enthusiastic
- Professional attitude - co-operative and mature approach to work
- Highly organised, able to plan ahead for short to long term objectives
- Able to work within a team and in co-operation with teams in other locations
