SABMiller Procurement was formed to manage the global procurement activities of SABMiller plc., one of the world’s largest brewers with brewing interests and sales and distribution agreements spanning six continents. SABMiller Procurement is formed of a global Strategic Sourcing hub in Zug, Switzerland, regional strategic sourcing teams in Latin America, Africa, South Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe, and local Procurement professionals in the majority of SABMiller country locations. An on-going programme to redefine the global Procurement organisation also includes the definition and set up of regional Procurement Centres to drive excellence in procurement operations. The aim of the global Procurement organisation is to create value for SABMiller through excellence in procurement across an extensive range of commodities and components, including brewing materials, packaging materials, capital equipment, marketing materials and other assets and business consumables and services.

Key Purpose Statement
The Buy Sell master data specialist is a member of the Buy Sell operating centre supporting the Buy Sell organisation with master data activities (vendors, customers, contracts, materials, prices).
Scope:
• BuySell unit and its branches shall gradually serve entire SABM Group – currently service provided to 5 countries for 12 procurement categories (labels, cans, crowns etc.).
• Further extension will follow in F16-F18
• Current number of processed AP invoices per year: 8000 (will increase with future buysell extension)
• Current number of issuing AR invoices per year: 4800 (will increase with future buysell extension)
• Responsible for accuracy of $600m+ buy/sales of goods (amount shall expand with adding other countries and enlarging scope of goods served)
• Complexity of Master data
• Co-operation with SABMP and other SABMiller Group companies
• Involvement in setting up/onboarding of new commodities and countries and balance the work with business-as-usual support to on-boarded countries
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end process for Creation and maintenance of master data (vendors, materials, contracts, customers)
• Manage the interface for errors solving
• Manage the exception process for non-routine MD requests
• Manage the setting of the packaging tax in SAP and related communication with suppliers and Tax department (Global Procurement)
• Maintain prices according to approved process
• Ensure consistency, quality and accuracy of master data
• Collaborates with other GDC Data Management Specialists as well as data architects and information architects to improve SABMiller’s Data Management capabilities
• Ensures upward communication of business concerns to the GDC Data Management Lead
• Manage the process from preparation to submission of Intrastat reports
• Support Year-end audit incl. communication with external auditors
• Develop the processes continuously based on identification of business needs
• Maximise efficiency opportunities within processes and change activities in order to reduce lead times for delivery of critical data objects, such as customers, pricing, discounts, vendors and new employees
• Analyse processes, recommend improvements and manage internal controls on documents to ensure data integrity
• Co-ordinates resolution of issues with Business Process Owners and Global Procurement
• Deliver High quality services to SABMP and other SABMiller Group companies involved in BuySell project as per SLA
• Support the internal customer by establishing a reliable process and ensuring that service level agreements and service obligations towards internal clients are met driving process efficiency and proper customer service
• Co-operate on BuySell deployment project and its extension
• Manage properly integration points with other functional areas (AP/AR, IT, other BuySell functions)
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Prepare/support KPI reporting for the Buy Sell processes
Knowledge and Experience Required
• Academic background: Bachelor or Master degree
• Experience: At least 2-3 year experience in master data management in corporate environment
• Language skills: Proficiency in English essential
• Computer proficiency
• SAP experience a must
• Data management Service Line experience within the Food and Beverage, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or similar industries desired
