Person hired for this role will be expected to become SME FX and will be involved in full life cycle of the product – from defining requirements together with the business, through implementation and testing, to production support.
Beside BOW tasks for SOR FX, it is scheduled for migration to global strategic platform - SOR+ which will be main focus in the future.
- Design and hands-on development of enhancement to the system (C++/Linux/Shell/Perl/Python/Lua)
- Creating Technical/Support Documentation
- 3rd line production support and issue investigation follow-up.
- Participation in technical architecture discussions and decisions
- Regular Interaction with other Credit-Suisse up/downstream systems
- UAT/QA System Support and issue investigation
- Participation in the entire software development life cycle including technical design, documentation, software development, unit testing & production implementation
- Post production software maintenance and bug fixes
- Understanding and helping to shape client's requirements
- Contributing to planning end-to-end development of applications from technical specifications and design documents.
- Performing successful unit, performance, system, integration and acceptance testing
- Applying standard development and change management methodologies
- Collaboration with globally distributed team
- Integration with strategic customer technology platforms.
Essential
5+ years front-office IT system development experience in C++ /Linux
In-depth knowledge of C++ (on Linux platform) including STL and Boost (5+ Years of overall experience)
Strong experience in real-time programming (multi-threading, OS IPC/synchronization mechanisms, communications/sockets)
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Desirable
Low-latency development experience and skills
Informatica UM product experience
TIBCO EMS/RT SmartSockets experience
Knowledge of ORACLE/SQL, Linux scripting languages (e.g. Perl) is desirable
Previous financial services experience
Experience and good understanding of FIX messaging
