Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- C++ - high performance, low latency
- Data structures and their complexity (big O notation)
- Object oriented design in C++
- Data oriented design
- Advanced multithreading (mandatory to be proficient, candidate have to have experience in this area) – locks, spin locks, guards, atomics, ability to resolve complex multithreaded problems with optimal multithreading algorithms, understanding how cache impact multithreading applications
- Knowledge about cache optimization (cache lines, cache levels etc.)
- Very good problem solving skills
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience with unit tests ideally under gTest
Knowledge about boost library
Advance template programming (boost mpl, boost fusion, boost preprocessor, template techniques like policies)
Python
CMake
Knowledge about Linux environment from developer perspective
Banking industry knowledge (stock trading)
The proejct is about comprehensive and flexible performance-oriented infrastructure for pre-trade checking of orders against a dynamic set of rules
Working across numerous timezones with global team (language, timezones, cultural bariers)
Candidate will be challenged with complex problems or solutions to that problems.
Quality is very important (unit tests, parallel runs).
