Our Client, an international retail company, is seeking to recruit an open-minded and ambitious individual to strengthen their local operations. Currently we are looking for one suitable candidate for the Category Manager position dedicated to Garden.
- Develop and optimize category direct import in the organization
- Engage and manage relationships with Company's key stakeholders
- Formalize and deliver vendor sourcing plans, managing vendor performance and engagement
- Supervise purchasing and sales budgets
- Negotiate commercial conditions in order to improve price competitiveness, deliver margin gains, improve payment and reduce stocks at destination
- Develop ranges and product offers in-line with Company's expectations using market knowledge as well as style and trend guidelines
- At least 4 years experience as Category Manager
- Higher level of education (business management is preferable)
- Commercial awareness and good understanding of market and customers
- Proven track record in sourcing industry or retail operations
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
- Very good people management and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt to different requirements
- Fluent in Polish and English
- High level of flexibility and willingness to travel to visit suppliers
