Our Client, an international retail company, is seeking to recruit open-minded and ambitious candidates to strengthen their local operations. Currently we are looking for 1 suitable candidates for the Category Manager position.
You will report directly to the Sector Director and your main duties will be:
- Developing and optimizing category direct import in the organization - Engaging and managing relationships with Company's key stakeholders - Formalizing and delivering vendor sourcing plans, managing vendor performance and engagement - Supervising purchasing and sales budgets - Negotiating commercial conditions in order to improve price competitiveness, deliver margin gains, improve payment and reduce stocks at destination - Developing ranges and product offers in-line with Company's expectations using market knowledge as well as style and trend guidelines
- At least 5 years experience as Category Manager - Higher level of education (business management is preferable) - Commercial awareness and good understanding of market and customers - Proven track record in sourcing industry or retail operations - Proven experience in project management - Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills - Very good people management and leadership skills - Ability to adapt to different requirements - Fluent in Polish and English - High level of flexibility and willingness to travel
