About our client
Our client is a leading International company. Given the size of the operations in Poland now (> 400 employees), the decision has been taken to recruit the Finance Director . This challenging position requires very strong interpersonal skills to lead the necessary change in a very dynamic and creative company.
Job description
- Develop and oversee the systems which ensure that the company comply with all applicable governance, legal and statutory requirements
- Plan and direct the accounting functions including budget control, all ledgers, capital expenditure
- Produce timely and accurate management accounts
- Produce and deliver annual audited financial statements
-Create clear, concise, accurate reports and presenting to the Board
- Proactively identifying and pursuing opportunities for expansion & development of the business
- Play an active role in new product and income stream development projects, providing full financial strategic planning and modelling
- Support & lead on financial planning as an integrated Senior Management Team member
-Take responsibilities for the appraisal and due diligence of acquisitions and investment opportunities
- Lead, develop and manage the staff; hire, coach, and lead a strong finance organization
Who we are looking for
- University degree - finance or business management, ACCA would be a plus
- Strong understanding of international accounting rules as well as legal regulations for company code
- Excellent financial management skills with an ability to see the details as well as the big picture
- Work experience in multinational company
- Good communication skills, flexible and creative approach to problems
- Fluent English
- Strong team building and organization skills
- Knowledge of ERP class systems would be an asset
- Hands-on mentality and strong interest in dynamic operations
