About our client
Our Client is a globally recognized brand solidly implemented in Poland. Due to further development and to strengthen its team, we are currently seeking to recruit an experienced, hands-on professional for the position of Chief Accountant, reporting to local Management in Warsaw and the Regional Finance team
Job description
- Supervise all accounting processes within the company
- Prepare financial statements and tax declarations
- Coordinate financial reporting and closing processes (monthly, quarterly and yearly) under local GAAP, for statutory and regulatory reporting
- Manage and develop the accounting team
- Preparation various analysis and reports for management purposes as required
- Cooperate with auditors, tax office and banks
- Coordinate the implementation of accounting and financial projects
- Ensure close cooperation with internal departments
Who we are looking for
- Relevant academic background (finance / accounting)
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior accountancy role involving team management / coordination responsibilities in an international environment
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and Polish Accounting Standards
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand the business to be able to support and control other functions within the company
- Strong communication skills and team spirit
- Good understanding of ERP systems
- Very good command of English
- Energetic and ambitious
