About our client
For our client, the world\'s leading company within the Pharma sector, currently we are looking for a charismatic leader to manage an accounting team covering the position of Chief Accountant.
Job description
- Manage and supervise all financial accounting activities in a manner that ensures compliance with financial and legal policies and procedures with accordance to the Polish Law
- Responsible for optimisation of tax position of the company
- Ensure adherence to internal as well as group procedures and guidelines
- Prepare Statutory Financial Statements according to Polish GAAP as well as remaining statutory reporting
- Prepare reporting package for group year end closing purposes
- Supervise monthly closing process
Who we are looking for
- Relevant University degree in Economics with a strong focus on Accounting / Finance
- Professional experience in the area of accounting on the position of Chief Accountant in international organization (at least 3 years), experience in Pharma / FMCG sector would be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Polish accounting regulations and IFRS, up to date knowledge of technical accounting issues
- Proven experience in managing and developing teams
- Fluent knowledge of English
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong usage of IT systems (Excel, Financial systems)
