Currently we are looking for a Chief Accountant to join an international Finance Centre. This is a highly challenging position for experienced Chief Accountants and Senior Accountants who want to advance their career. The primary responsibility of the role is to provide timely, reliable and valuable accounting reporting for two group entities.

Description
- Control and manage the entire accounting process for two group entities in line with international accounting standards
- Be the main point of contact for external and internal audit in relation to financial accounting
- Complete and review reconciliations and journal entries
- Adhere to Companies policies including Balance Sheet and P+L controls
- Prepare VAT and CIT declaration in line with local requirements
- Responsible for the consolidation of reporting of financial performance at a corporate level, ensuring deadlines are met
- Identify and implement improvements and efficiency in the reporting process
- Playing an active role in system implementation projects
Profile
- Min. 3 - 5 years of experience on a similar position
- Finance/Economy educational background
- Very good knowledge of Polish GAAP and IFRS
- Fluent English
- Proactive approach, positive attitude
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment
