Our Client, a Multinational company with its operations in Poland and abroad, one of the leaders in its sector, is currently looking for a talented leader to fill the position of Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for managing the company''s accounting operations and will report directly to the Headquarter.
- Fully responsible for leading and managing accounting team (>20
individuals)
- Manage full accounting process, including GL/AP/AR reporting according to local GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards for Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania
- Work closely with controlling team in Germany to prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports
- Manage, develop, coach, and recruit operational team of accountants
- University degree in finance / accounting / business administration or related field
- min.5 years of experience on a similar position in a dynamic, multinational environment
- Experience in management and development of a team of subordinates, change management
- Hands-on, proactive approach and willingness to challenge status quo
- Experience with the use of information technology to effectively satisfy business needs (SAP)
- Very good English and Polish is a must
- German will be a strong asset
