JOB DUTIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing the operations and activities of three departments (Operational Department of Sea/ Rail/ Road Freight Transportation – 252 employees);
- Developing business relations with customers, business partners and members of the AsstrA team;
- Active participation in negotiations with customers;
- Controlling, identifying and implementing work procedures between all operational departments and customers;
- Optimization of business processes, identifying unnecessary operations and eliminating inefficiencies;
- Leading the successful execution of the company's strategic plan.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT:
- 5 years of experience in freight forwarding utilizing various modes of transport (road, sea, rail, air);
- Fluency in English & Polish (other languages will be your additional advantage);
- Experience in logistics on EU and CIS markets;
- Proven managerial experience, strong negotiation skills, proactive.
