Currently FedEx Business Centre is rapidly developing its operations in Krakow. For Customs Clearance team we are currently looking for: 

CLEARANCE ENGINEER

Job purpose:

As part of a team in charge of the Strategic and Tactical development planning and analysis of Europe Clearance Operations, this excellent communicator and strongly analytical individual will be supporting the analysis, development and implementation of clearance operational processes in the new FedEx Business Centre in Cracow, Poland.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise the information control that supports the achievement of regulatory compliance, service and customer experience capabilities, providing cost reductions, limit financial exposure, and support revenue retention and growth.
- Coordinating with multi-functional teams, you will oversee the development of Operating scenarios and procedures, be responsible of Business Case development for necessary approval and support for the implementation of projects and initiatives.
- You will give and receive support to and from senior professionals in the local team or elsewhere.

Requirements:  
- Master Degree or professional qualification engineering (civil, industrial, commercial) or quantitative discipline.
- Very good command of English (as it's working language).
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of using relevant software tools (SQL, Excel, Access, MS Office ...) to translate business needs into computerised simulations
- Excellent standard of numeracy / able to manipulate data and present in meaningful format
- Creative thinker with the ability to recognize improvement opportunities.
- Good planning, organizing and problem solving skills - Excellent knowledge of analytical concepts and engineering tools.
- Able to work effectively with different cultures and nationalities.
- Experience in customs clearance operations and / or experience in Business Center set-up / management is preferred
- Experience of using relevant software tools (Excel, Access...) to translate business needs into computerised simulations
- Limited travel is Europe required.
