The candidate will be responsible for working on the development of the Enterprise Data Catalog for the bank. This will be based on an industry leading tool called Collibra which we use to support our data governance needs.
The candidate will work with the existing development team to extend the capabilities of Collibra to collect technical information and provide a data shopping experience that is central to the firm's strategic ambition.
- You will be part of a team of developers working on a number of industry leading tools for data governance (Collibra), Data Quality and Reporting (Tableau / Qlikview)
- You will work in an agile methodology to deliver new capabilities and functionality in our tools.
- You will get a broad understanding of how the different divisions in the bank use their data and how we can provide insight into the complex nature of data as it flows through a large organisation.
- You will have the opportunity to use and learn different skills and tools - such as Collibra for the data Catalog (including Groovy / Java), Mulesoft for integration, BPMN for workflow development and SQL on Oracle
- You will get to collaborate with other architecture functions on leading initiatives that are changing the approach to how we understand and use our data.
The central IT Architecture & Strategy function of the bank is operating a set of bank-wide in-house developed, and vendor tools that support enterprise data architecture (design, investment, & delivery). Data Architecture is a key strategic initiative that is core to the way in which we understand our business, meet regulatory compliance and help transform the application and data landscape within the firm.
Data Architecture, Tooling and Engineering is a global team that has established a centre of excellence in Warsaw office. You will be part of a larger global team, in Warsaw, London, Zurich and Pune, delivering innovative data solutions to the firm.
We are looking for a functional analyst to work on our Enterprise Data Catalog that is key to a number of strategic data initiatives in the bank.
Team: The current team in Warsaw is made up of 10 staff - covering development and support. We are looking to expand this further in 2019.
They work as part of a global team based in London, India and Switzerland who provide Data Architecture tools to the firm across the Investment, Retail and Private bank.
