For our Client, organization with a very well recognized brand and a strong and historically rooted presence in Poland, we are looking for a professional Commodity Manager who will introduce innovative procurement ideas and best practice solutions which bring real value to the company''s bottom line.
The best candidate will be challenged with developing, executing, monitoring and improving sourcing strategies globally for IT (hardware & telecom) spend.
- Design, implement and develop strategy for IT category through effective category analysis
- Maintain high quality relationships with key suppliers to ensure market knowledge in hardware & telco segment is cutting edge
- Manage defined spend categories to minimize purchasing cost while maintaining high quality of materials
- Build relationships internally in order to increase effectiveness and positive contribution purchasing brings to an organization
- Contribute actively in building a high performing professional procurement department
- Report to Procurement Director
- Master Degree in Economics or relevant
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in indirect procurement in a global company
- Minimum 2 years experience as Category / Commodity Manager IT
- Business orientation and proven results in strategy building, sourcing and generation of savings
- Ability to work in diverse environments and adhere to highest ethical standards
- Strong suppliers'' management and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated cross-functional team work
- Very good command of English
