Our client is a global organization that develops a Shared Service Centre in Warsaw, Poland. On behalf of the company we are looking for a Compliance Accountant.
Your main responsibility as a Compliance Accountant will be preparation of the reporting packs for the financial audit purposes, assistance in the preparation of statutory account packs and booking the adjustments from group to statutory financial results. Key elements of the role will include reviewing of local bookkeeper’s work and dealing with external auditors & accounting advisors.
In order to be successful on this position you should have Master’s Degree in economics/ finance related discipline with minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting. Professional experience in General Ledger within a Shared Services Operations or BPO environment is required. Payroll accounting & Fixed Assets experience is a plus. We seek a professional with excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure, especially in the period of month/year end closing. You need to speak fluent English. Knowledge of SAP and US GAAP will be a strong asset.
