For our client we are looking for:
Compliance Officer
Miejsce pracy: mazowieckie/ Warszawa

Responsibilities:
- Coordination and management of monthly and annual financial statutory reporting
- Managing participation of the team in the external financial audit and cooperation with the accounting advisors
- Managing the teams across locations Poland and India
- High level review of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts (reporting packs) for errors, omissions or inconsistencies
- Assuring appropriate control environment in the GL process
- Ensuring compliance with month end / year end calendar
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies of our Client
- Manage the relationship with the business counterpart
- Ensuring effective communication within the business counterpart to address all issues and lead resolution actions
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Serves as the primary Point of contact for Client and Accenture
- Managing the team of +20 people
Qualification:
- Fluent English
- Master degree in accountancy, economics or finance
- At least 5+ years' work experience with relevant Accounting or Finance experience
- At least 2+ years proven supervisory or management track record
- At least 3+ years' work experience in corporate environment in GL area,
- 5+ years of external financial audit experience would be an asset
- MS Office (mainly Excel) skills are essential; ERP literacy is desirable (Oracle)
- Knowledge of GAAP's, SOX control and reporting standards/procedures
- High standard of professional conduct
- Excellent business writing skills, proficient in report writing, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Flexibility, especially in the period of month/year end closing
- Ability to work analytically within a problem solving environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
