Our client is one of largest player in its industry, manufacturing and delivering top class products to clients on several continents. Poland plays a key role within the Group. In order to support its development and strengthen its team, our Client is looking for a talented, driven, business-oriented finance professional for the newly created position of Controlling and Internal Audit Manager. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting to senior management, budgeting, forecasting and controlling activities, as well as internal audit functions

 

Opis stanowiska
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of controllers and internal auditors
  • Provide insight and recommendations based on analyses and assessments of data and business processes
  • Ensure the reliability of financial reporting
  • Coordinate the control activities including monthly monitoring, forecasting, reporting and variance analyses
  • Coordinate the development of the annual budget together with the management team
  • Actively participate in the control of the monthly closing activities in time and quality
  • Establish and improve internal processes and procedures
  • Assist the Finance Director in the presentation of the results to Group's headquarters
  • Develop financial awareness and discipline within the organization
  • Ensure fraud detection processes are in place, investigate fraud to ensure protection of assets as well as compliance with laws and regulations
Kogo szukamy
  • Relevant University Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • At least 8 years relevant professional experience in finance, experience in audit firms and industrial environment will be an asset
  • Proven experience in managing and developing teams
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Hands-on approach, ability to challenge the status-quo and drive change
  • Excellent technical accounting (Polish GAAP and IFRS)
  • Knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP-class systems , excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Fluency in English and Polish
  • Willing to travel frequently (approximately 60%)
