We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Corporate Data Governance Lead to join the Corporate Data Engineering Department within Medicover Group IT.
This role is responsible for building and driving the Data Governance framework across the organization, ensuring that data is managed consistently, securely, and effectively as a strategic business asset. You will work closely with business leaders, data professionals, and technology teams to establish data ownership, improve data quality, and foster a data-driven culture across the Group.

- Developing and executing the enterprise Data Governance strategy aligned with business objectives and data transformation initiatives.
- Establishing and maintaining data governance policies, standards, processes, and operating models across the organization.
- Defining and coordinating data ownership and stewardship structures to ensure accountability for critical data assets.
- Driving the implementation of governance practices within business processes and technology solutions.
- Leading initiatives focused on improving data quality, reliability, consistency, and completeness across key data domains.
- Overseeing metadata management activities, including business glossaries, data catalogues, and common business definitions.
- Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to promote data ownership and governance best practices.
- Monitoring Data Governance maturity, identifying improvement opportunities, and reporting progress to senior leadership.
- Supporting organizational change through training, communication, and awareness initiatives that strengthen a data-driven culture.
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Business Intelligence, Data Strategy, or related disciplines.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-wide Data Governance frameworks, standards, and operating models.
- Hands-on experience in Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, or similar data management disciplines.
- Practical knowledge of data governance frameworks and industry best practices, particularly DAMA-DMBOK.
- Experience working in large and complex organizations with multiple business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, analytical environments, data integration, and enterprise information management principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead transformation initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and consensus-building skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to balance business priorities, risks, and data management requirements.
- English proficiency at minimum B2+/C1 level, both written and spoken.
- DAMA, CDMP, DCAM, or other Data Governance-related certifications.
- Experience working with enterprise data catalog, metadata management, or data quality platforms.
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, and modern analytics ecosystems.
- Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with data governance maturity assessment methodologies.
