Purpose of the role

Support large scale cross-functional investment decisions through creative financial modelling and scenario analysis

Convert information and data relating to investment projects into meaningful analytical output and value driver measurements that inform investment decisions in strategic and tactical investments at an OpCo and Group level

Drive continuous improvement of analytics and business insights for investments ensuring SLAs are met, governance is in place and the quality of service is assured

Accountabilities
•Embed the high quality analytics framework that supports and informs business direction and decisions
•Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support large scale strategic projects
•Use creative modelling techniques to provide value added analysis
•Consolidate business insights for large scale initiatives within the DS teams to create high quality MI and business cases
•Constructively challenge analytics processes and methodologies, recommending changes that enhance and constantly improve the quality of output
•Conduct variance analysis for monthly management accounting reviews with FBPs, ensuring commentary is relevant and accurate with risks and opportunities identified
•Perform ad hoc analysis to support FBP organisation
•Review capital allocation and consolidate cash forecasting, highlighting trends and tracking performance to provide insights to FBPs
•Provide information and analytics to support the financial planning process

Qualifications
•Working towards professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) MBA Considered

Experience
•3-5 years post-qualification relevant experience in a Corporate Performance Analysis role in an international company
•Project accounting experience on multi-disciplinary projects
•Experience working in a fast-paced, complex global organisation with finite resources
