Country Finance Manager - Poland
Location: Warszawa
As the Country Finance Manager you will be a primary owner of the financial accounting & compliance of the company’s entity based in Poland. Holding end-to-end responsibility and oversight over US GAAP and statutory reporting, you will closely collaborate with the regional and global finance centers through direct management of staff and outsourced service providers.
Your main task will be to support in-country transitions and knowledge transfer activities and address in-country legal entity change management needs. You will independently handle complex and high risk matters, own and maintain the operating procedures for the entity activities, accounting flows related to statutory and US GAAP reporting. In addition to that in that role you will coordinate month end close activities, conduct annual balance sheet reviews, drive and support internal/external audits for the entity and support resolution of findings. Being in charge of tax projects related to entity, you will partner with corporate tax and provide necessary information and assistance for tax audits and compliance matters. As a Country Finance Manager you will build relationships and partner with the outsourced service providers, regional/global finance centers, corporate finance, corporate compliance functions and statutory auditors.
REQUIREMENTS: University degree in Accounting, Finance or Administration, Min. 5 years professional experience in Finance, Professional accounting designation would be an advantage, Experience in working within global corporate, complex organizations, US GAAP knowledge and working experience, Fluent English
