Job description
The duties of a Collections Specialist include:
- Performing collection calls.
- Providing customer service regarding collection issues: process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve broker discrepancies and short payments.
- Monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts - Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer reconciliations and sending statements.
- Establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships with brokers and other departments.
- Preparing ad hoc and regular reports for Client.
- Supporting Team Leader in coordinating the team work.
- Taking part in a regular calls with the Client
Requirements
- Fluent English (C1 Level according CEFR scale)
- Experience in Finance & Accounting area
- Very good Customer Service & Negotiating skills
- Excellent Analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach
- Good knowledge of Ms Excel would be a key asset
- Experience in working with Mainframe & Lotus Notes would be an asset
