The Cross Functional Automation Analyst (CFAA) will manage the process of requirements gathering from start to finish for prospective automation opportunities. The Cross Functional Automation Analyst will be assigned to projects where they will use technical knowledge, and provide industry expertise, as well as assist in the resolution of conflicting requirements / priorities. The CFAA will partner with the business to identify critical business needs as well as solutions to address them.
- Regularly reviewing existing ‘Continuous Improvement projects pipeline’ from various functions in Enterprise Shared Services (Claims, Insurance Ops, Reinsurance, -working on prioritized projects, assessing given ideas in terms of feasibility and implementing them in cooperation with function representatives
- Close collaboration and partnership with management and continuous improvement coordinators – advising on feasibility of the new ideas
- Delivering automation solutions and documenting accordingly steps and procedures to maintain user manual before handover
- Development of training materials, implementation, coordination and delivery of internal MS Excel and SQL trainings (basic, intermediate and advanced level)
- Undertaking any other duties that the company may reasonably request

- Significant experience in VBA Coding, Macro Recording and Debugging errors
- Ability to review VBA coding and have skills to understand previously written macros
- Experience with Access Database Management, particularly with Query and Form Designing & Development
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in business strateg andy help business partners communicate and influence key stakeholders, and drive business engagement in IT strategy.
- Effectively engages project stakeholders in the estimation process and can quickly recognize and react to the implications of business strategy changes.
- Ability to facilitate resolution of conflicting requirements / solutions, analyzing the available options and constraints to provide creative solutions
- Ability to quickly learn and understand insurance processes
- Desire to continuously learn
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent command of written and spoken English to document the steps and prodcudures in a structured manner
- Practical understanding of software development
- Expected to exercise discretion when performing tasks
- Experience in a shared service environment or insurance branch would be advantageous
