CS-389- Senior UIT QA Engineer

To join FR IT team to support a range of Testing activities and specifically to

• Participate in reviews and provide feedback on System Architecture, Design documents and Specifications from Testing perspective.
• Develop Test Plans based on Test Strategy.
• Create and execute Test Cases based on Business requirements, Test Strategy and Test Plans.
• Develop scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools as required to execute Test Plans.

• 5 - 8 years with software quality assurance with significant testing and automation experience.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with other Testers, Developers and Managers.

• Candidate should have experience testing the following types of applications: Web, Web Services, data warehouse, distributed applications and relation database.

• 5 + year experience in managing testing efforts with good experience in Test Planning, Estimation, Scheduling and Test Management.

• Familiar with system architecture and database analysis.

• Proficient with Unit testing, Use Acceptance Testing, Integration, Functionality testing, Security testing, Performance/Load testing.

• Experience with testing at different levels importantly - Unit, Integration, Functional/System.

• Experience with Test Automation & Performance Scripts - Development and maintenance.

• Experience with design, creation, and execution, reporting of both manual and automated test cases.

• Good knowledge of QualityCenter and should have used the Test Management process in QC for planning, executing and reporting.

• Proficiency in SQL with Oracle or similar RDBMS.

• C/C++/JAVA Programming experience preferred.

• Experience writing scripts/programs in C/C++, Java, Perl, Visual Basic or other programming language will be a major plus
• Experience writing tests in Selenium or Robot will be a major plus

• Experience with test automation tools (QTP & Loadrunner).

• Data warehouse experience

Financial Reporting IT are the creators and custodians of the systems which support the Bank's financial records, the subsequent financial and regulatory reporting functions, and the related management information. Wroclaw will be an integral delivery unit focused on our Core Regulatory Processing systems. The Team's remit is to be the competency centre for our core Regulatory systems consisting of calculations engines and data warehouses which provides the necessary data\reports for local regulators (FSA, FINMA, etc.) as well Basel reporting. The function is part of the core mandate for the bank and is highly critical. The Wroclaw competency centre will be the location from which build and meet complex and critical regulatory demand
