We are looking for a top-notch Engineer who can take ownership of a complex multi-platform client, including design, development and quality. This position holds a high level of responsibility and latitude to design and create new applications. Candidate will develop new client software and help to maintain existing desktop clients, and will collaborate with Product Managements, Program Management and QA teams.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop tools, scripts & applications leveraging Egnyte public API's
- Analyze and thoroughly investigate issues raised by the Services team and escalate to Engineering where necessary
- Work closely with Engineering and Product Management team
- Identify issues and required improvements and assist Product Management in prioritizing them in the product road map
Skills - Experience and Requirements:
- 1-2 Years Node.js experience
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills required
- At least two years of experience in JAVA and/or Python programming
- Exposure to Unix OS
- Proficient in shell scripting
- Basic SQL skills required
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of Python programming language
- Experience with C++11 standard
- Experience with MSI and WiX
- Experience with Shell Extensions
- Exposure to service discovery protocols
- Experience in working with version control system, ideally using Git
