The primary responsibility of the Cyber M&A Project Analyst will be to support the EMEA Cyber M&A leader and other project managers with the preparation of reports on Cyber analysis. Cyber M&A practice provides Aon’s client with comprehensive assessment of a target company’s cyber security level. Project work incorporates cyber technical analysis in combination with documentation review. Additional M&A transactions solutions and wider advisory services may also be provided to client during the transaction and following the completion of a deal. In addition, the Cyber M&A Project Analyst may support Portfolio Managers in new and existing Portfolio and Infrastructure Projects. The role may involve the coordination of Aon resources across geographies and practices across Aon.
Supporting the end-to-end project management of Cyber M&A activities, particularly focusing on Cyber Due Diligence but also other post-deal Cyber project management activities
Supporting Cyber Due Diligence which will require the following:
- Owning delivery of the initial Cyber analysis of target business, including but not limited to, using Aon proprietary software and third-party solutions
- Preparing reports on Cyber analysis
- Project managing more complex Cyber due diligence engagements that involved multiple teams across Aon EMEA to meet client timelines
- Supporting Broader Cyber M&A initiatives which will include project management skills, including planning, reporting and time management across multiple Aon EMEA Cyber resources to meet client timelines
- Participating in Other activities including supporting the EMEA Cyber M&A leader to build business, such as supporting business development activities that may require ad-hoc project activities for clients
- Actively participating in training of new joiners and other team members
- Being flexible in supporting other team members as need arises (often on short notice, complex assignments)
- Providing support to the team members in communicating issues to other teams and ensuring timely resolution
- Building and maintaining strong and effective working relationships with other teams (often cross-location)
- A strong desire to operate within Mergers & Acquisitions working with Private Equity, Venture Capital and Corporate M&A deal teams.
- A good understanding of Cyber Security, including but not limited to understanding business-level Cyber risks, technical vulnerabilities and typical improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Applications
- Data analysis skills with a detailed analytical approach to tasks
- English level – C1 with excellent written skills (English)
- Aptitude for articulating (both verbally and in writing) technical or complicated issues in a concise manner
- Strong project management skills ideally gained from a recognized consulting business
- Ability to manage work streams in a project
- Ability to help manage multiple projects and multiple engagements simultaneously
- Excellent time management & organizational skills
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- Some experience working in an office environment preferred
