Data Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Provision of analytical support to projects across the spectrum of our transportation planning business
- Development and use of data processing tools to provide high quality inputs to modelling and appraisal activities
- Analysis and presentation of results
- Analysis and processing of data
- Preparation of study reports and presentation
- Support to the development of forecasts, transport strategies, business cases and other forms of transport assessment
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Strong academic background and track record in mathematics and statistics
- Practical experience in data analytics
- Experience in Microsoft data analytical tools such as MS Excel, MS Access, MS Power BI, MS Power Query etc.
- Programming skills focused around data analysis / data management / data science in some of the following languages: Python, SQL, R, Java, VBA etc.
- Ability to interpret and present the results of the analysed data set
- Good English skills
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge or some experience in Transport Planning and Modelling
- Some experience of economic appraisal activities
- Some experience in using GIS Software such as QGIS, ArcGIS, Mapinfo
