Data Engineer
Warsaw + remote based

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well respected organisation who are leader within the market they operate in!
My client is looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join their team of strong experts. The right candidate will be someone who is ambitious and able to work high end building solutions that give transparency into the enormous amount of entitlement and privilege management data which is generated on a daily basis and ensure that this data is readily available within the firm’s data warehouses to support further monitoring and reconciliations by the firm’s security groups.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Working across all the stages of software development life cycle, including requirements, design, development, deployment and maintenance
- Developing objected-oriented software using Java 8 or later
- Designing RESTful services that can be consumed by web applications using Java
- Experience in using relational databases (DB2 10.5 or later) for persisting application data
- Experience with analyzing disparate data sets and using large scale querying and aggregation techniques like (SQL, NoSQL)
- Basic knowledge on business process modelling tools like Camunda, jBPM (desired but not mandatory)
- Supporting production environments to analyze and provide enhancements / break fixes as required
- Strong work ethic, a sense of ownership and urgency
- Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams
