Required

• 7+ years designing, implementing, and operational data store, data mart and business

intelligence solutions.

• Experience architecting high-volume ETL and ELT solutions
• Advanced knowledge of MongoDB (scaling out, sharding, optmization), and the ability to

determine when it's best to choose a noSQL solution over a SQL solution

• Experience working with large data warehouses (10+ billion entries) and high-throughput

transactional systems (hundreds of millions of daily events).

• Strong knowledge of SQL, including implementation of tables, views, stored procedures, and

functions.

• Experience working with enterprise data: business analysis, data modeling, source analysis,

mapping, cleansing, transforming, enriching, loading, validating, mining, reporting, and archiving.

• Knowledge of database internals; partitioning; indexes; star schema optimization; parallel

queries

• Experience working with in-memory caching systems like ElastiCache or memcached
• Experience working with Erwin or other data modeling tools
• Experience working in a Linux or Unix environment
• Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably Amazon Web Services
• Experience Hadoop, MapReduce and related technologies for large-scale analysis analysis
• Experience with cloud-based scalable database solutions (e.g., DynamoDB, SimpleDB,

Cassandra, HBase, etc.)

• Experience with web analytics, high-volume online transaction systems and high-frequency

trading systems is highly desirable.

• Previous experience working with Tableau or other reporting/visualization tools to implement

dashboards and reports desirable

• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience working with messaging bus technologies such as Kafka
• Experience working with SVN

Pluses

• node.js/JavaScript programming experience

Development of the tag management space:

• virtual tag machine, that would permit digital publishers to run tags in sandboxes on servers, which would help website owners better control cookie behavior (obeying new UK and EU rules around cookie placement)
• server-to-server data interfaces that would permit some tag providers to switch from Javascript tags to cleaner APIs.
