Compact Solutions Sp. z o.o. is seeking an experienced Consultant to join our team in Krakow. Key responsibilities of this position would be to work directly with our customers to help them make educated decisions in the Data Quality or Data Governance areas and successfully deploy and utilize solutions build based on Compact's own (http://www.compactbi.com/products/) and its partner’s products.

Work directly with premier class, worldwide organizations to advice and recommend solutions based on the understood requirements

Help design and implement Data Integration, Data Quality or Data Governance architectures and configurations for customer

Analyze complex distributed production environments and make recommendations for proper products selection

Able to document and present complex architectures for the customers technical and business teams

Work closely with Compact Solution’s product development teams to help enhance own products portfolio functionality and ensure the success of project consulting engagements with customer

Drive product implementation projects with customers to successful completion

Write and produce technical documentation, best practice knowledgebase

University degree in Computer Science

Good experience working in UNIX/Linux operating systems

Strong, practical knowledge of SQL and relational database applications

Experience with ETL concepts, tools or platforms

BI tools and platforms background
-
Very good written and verbal English

Ability to travel to our client locations for short engagements (worldwide)

Experience with modeling relational databases and data warehouses

Programming in procedural languages like PL/SQL, T-SQL, etc.

Programming skills in Shell or Perl scripting

Metadata Management background
