Coordinate the creation of functional migration design and extract and load requirements document.

Design technical migration flow for the migration application.

Create detailed component design for the migration application.

Supervise other designers or developers in completing designs.

Assist build and unit testing.

Assist in translating mapping rules and designs into test conditions and expected results for assembly testing.

Analyze defects, which can result in changing documentation (e.g., trigger change requests if changes to the functional migration design are necessary).

Implement change requests.

Design migration reconciliation: migration checksum spreadsheet, reports, and messages.

Define the configuration of the migration environment and create parameters for the migration run preparation.

Familiar with data migration concepts, principles, and techniques.

Strong analytical skills.

Functional and technical knowledge. Basic knowledge of business (migrated instances) and technology is important to raising relevant questions to be answered.

Ability to transform migration requirements into a workable design at the functional and/or technical levels.

Ability to translate requirements into technical terms relevant to the application to coordinate and assist with the detailed technical design tasks.

Knowledge of data models and database concepts.

Familiar with tools such as Visio, Excel, HP Quality Center, etc. Being versed with standard tools is important to be able to work effectively.

Ability to build client relationship to moderate and coordinate technical and functional discussions.

Strong communication skills to avoid misunderstandings in creating and documenting conversion rules.

Ability to identify key figures (checksums, certain reports, etc.) to measure the success of migration

University degree.

Excellent command of English and Polish.
