The opportunity is to work in the Business Intelligence / Reporting space as a Data Modeler.
Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the analysis and design of data models at the conceptual, logical and physical levels for business intelligence projects involving reporting Data warehouse.
• Analyze customer"s requirements, gaps and challenges, design and consolidate data model to meet both the business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, business analysts, data analysts and other data modelers to create data models that extend and attribute the current level of detail, along with accompanying documentation in conformance with the applicable data standards.
• Partner with onsite/oversea ETL, data modelers and reporting engineers and provide consultation and support if needed.
• Provide assistance in defining required data transformations and business rules.
• Assist in identifying, validating and documenting source system data issues, along with supporting triage of data defects found during test cycles. Develop & unit test data model solutions for optimal performance.
• Performance tune data model solutions.
• Work closely with database administration team and ensure the database is architected and designed to support data model solutions.
• Provide level-4 production support.
We require:
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Must have experience in creating source-to-target mapping document across environments.
• Must have minimum 3 years of physical database implementation
• Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills and the ability to work with people in various groups and departments.
• Must have a proven track record creating dimensional, normalized and hybrid models for business intelligence projects.

• Must be a team player and be able to lead and mentor other developers onsite and offshore
• Must have worked with ETL developers responsible for implementing the mappings, responding to and participating in the resolution of issues. This includes assistance in defining required data transformations and business rules.
• Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to present complex technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior decision-makers.
