What will you do?
You will provide day-to-day, hands-on technical support of production and development SQL Server instances running on Windows Server. Mostly, you will:
- Work as part of a technical support team (L2, L3) delivering a quality service to multiple clients using a variety of hardware and software product in a follow-the-sun support model.
- Resolve incidents affecting the operation/availability of high profile production systems
What do we expect?
- Experience on similar position within multinational company will be an advantage
- Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases on administration level and willingness to learn other database systems like Sybase ASE, Oracle, MySQL.
- Ability to work in Windows Server 2008/2012 environment; Unix/Linux systems will be an advantage
- Good English skills
- Knowledge of ITIL and change management process will be an advantage
