Job responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer escalations
- Support Database design, development, architecture and implementation
- Support storage and retrieval activities along with data flow and analysis
- Support development of requirements for database administration and design
- Support in developing database structures fitting into the overall system architecture
- Support the analysis and evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development and maintenance efforts
- Write efficient T-SQL for large datasets
- Work with customer service, support teams to address business critical database solutions
- Handle assigned tasks from ticketing system
- Collaborate effectively with local and geographically-distributed teams
- Work in an agile environment to implement solutions
- Participate in on-call rotation that includes evening and weekend hours
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience as a Database Engineer in fast-paced MS SQL 2008/2012 environment
- Expertise in T-SQL, SSRS, SQL Clustering, SQL2012, SQL Profiler
- Strong knowledge in database design
- Good experience in C#
- Familiarity with Database performance optimization concepts including optimizing query plans, index maintenances and other administration related activities
- Experience with very large databases and distributed database environment
- Experience with Team Foundation Server desired
- Previous experience with profiling tools desired

- Fluent in English
Education:
- Bachelor in CS or Engineering with emphasize on Database development
